STM Roofing and Scaffolding was formerly known as STM Roofing (trading since 1999) and Master Scaffolding (trading since 2007) under the parent company, STM Enterprises Limited.

Managing Director
Shaun Mason, has a vast background in engineering and construction with five national certificates to his name in these fields.
Shaun believes in the saying -you’re only as good as your last job. “My worst nightmare is an unhappy customer; this is why I demand a high standard of our team members”.
Shaun and his dedicated team are there to help you with anything from small repairs to major construction contracts.

Dave joined STM Roofing and Scaffolding in November 2024 and although new to the team brings a vast knowledge of roofing gathered throughout his 25+ years within the industry.
Dave started roofing in 1995 installing lightweight tiles after leaving the Navy which he joined out of school. He then moved into long-run roofing where he honed his skills and quickly moved up the ranks to site foreman. From there it was an easy transition into his first management role in 2001, since then Dave has been managing roofing teams, or running his own business.
As the Roofing Supervisor Dave oversees the roofing team to ensure your jobs are completed to the highest possible standard.
In his spare time Dave enjoys getting out on the water for a fish or spending time with his granddaughter.
Sales & Service Supervisor
Doug joined STM Roofing and Scaffolding in 2024 as our Sales and Service Supervisor.
After leaving college he started work at North West Roofing in North Auckland. After a few years working there as a roofing labourer he started working as a self-employed roofer for various companies around Auckland and Bay of Plenty.
After 30 years on the tools, he progressed into supervising and sales work for a large roofing company in Auckland. He has recently moved to Paeroa and now enjoying the role at STM after 40 years in the industry.
Weekends are usually spent riding his bike, fishing and finding time to mow lawns and weed gardens at home.
Scaffolding Supervisor
Dillon has been a proud member of STM Roofing and Scaffolding since 2013. Throughout his time with the company, he has dedicated himself to growing alongside the team and building strong connections within the business.
In 2021 he stepped into a supervisory role, where he leads and collaborates with the crew on a variety of projects. Starting from the ground up, he has shaped his career through determination and a commitment to delivering quality work.
Dillon holds certificates in Elementary and Intermediate Scaffolding as well as other industry-relevant qualifications. These credentials equip him with the skills and leadership abilities to ensure his team consistently delivers high-quality results.
Outside of work, he enjoys working on his car, a personal passion that keeps him busy as he focuses on maintenance and improvements. He also enjoys fishing whenever he gets the chance, finding it to be the perfect way to unwind and enjoy the outdoors.
Operations Manager
Sandy started as our Office Administrator/Reception in 2015 and quickly became the heart of the office with her willingness to help others and a knack for being able to make every customer and team member feel valued.
Over the years her role grew from administrative tasks and helping customers to include job estimating, planning, scheduling and assisting with keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes.
Outside of work, she enjoys reading, exploring topics of interest, pondering life’s big questions and dabbling in gardening projects hoping things will grow.
